Last Year in December ...

The 2011 World Latin Formation was contested in Vilnius, LTU, with the outcome that seems to be unwritten law (well, almost) in formation championships: the home team always wins.

Žuvėdra, the Lithuanian formation team affiliated with the Klaipėda University, was able to reverse the order of placing in the 2010 World Latin Formation, winning the gold and leaving Vera from Russia, the 2010 host and champion, with the silver.

The home team always wins!

Does this bode well for HSV Zwölfaxing, one of two Austrian formations in tomorrow's championship,  or will it be another three-way fight for the title between Germany, Lithuania and Russia (in alphabetical order)? Here are the results and marks of last year's final in Vilnius ...

Final Placing | Marks

1. Klaipeda Zuvedra I, LTU | 1 1 1 2 1 2 2

2. Vera Tyumen, RUS | 3 2 3 3 2 1 1

3. Aachen/Düsseldorf Rot-Weiss, GER | 4 3 2 4 3 4 3

4. Gruen-Gold-Club Bremen, GER | 2 4 4 1 4 3 4

5. Klaipeda Zuvedra II, LTU | 6 6 5 5 5 5 5

WDSF Communications received the videos below from Sergejus Makarova last year. Unfortunately, the broacast was never made available by the organisers.
