2013 European Latin

The Favourites 05/04/2013

2013 EC LAT Krasnodar Aniello Langella and Khrystyna Moshenska, ITA, are the defending European Champions Latin. They won their title almost exactly one year ago in Cambrils, ESP. We reported extensively on that championship too!

Andrey Zaytsev and Anna Kuzminskaya, RUS, have just recently revalidated their title as Russian Champions Latin and are determined to reverse the international order once more. First at the European level here in Krasnodar and later this year at the world level in Berlin, GER. Their last win over Aniello and Khrystyna dates back to August 2012 and when they came in first at the GrandSlam Latin in Stuttgart, GER.

Afterwards came Vienna, AUT, and yet another face-off between the two magnificent couples for the the title of World Champions. And everybody should remember how that ended around midnight on 17 November at the Stadthalle in the Austrian capital.

If not, check here!

The Venue 05/04/2013

Basket Hall Regular home to the local Lokomotiv-Kuban basketball club, the spectacular venue for the 2013 European Latin was completed only two years ago. It is known as the "Basket Hall" to the Krasnodar residents and located on Prigorodnaya Street, not far from the city centre.

Its seating capacity of 7,500 and the PSSO sound equipment that was installed for shows and concerts make it the prefect setting for a DanceSport competition.
