What is also noteworthy is that the “clean sweeps” – i.e. winning all five dances in a final – are no longer within easy reach, not even for the best couples. Langella – Moshenska, who seemed to dominate the other four dances at will, tied the Paso Doble with the runners-up, Armen Tsaturyan - Svetlana Gudyno. And a fair tie it was.
