The new venue for the Austrian Open, and therefore for the 2013 World DanceSport Championship Ten Dance, is the Multiversum. It is a unique multi-functional event complex in Vienna - Schwechat, located very close to the international airport, that opened in January 2011.
Fitted with state-of-the-art technology and a flexible floor plan as well as stage design, even the most extraordinary event ideas can be fully implemented at the Multiversum.
A new era for top-level international DanceSport at the fine complex was inaugurated with the 2012 European Formation Latin. Only a few weeks ago, on 28 September, the World Cup Latin was the second big event held there to much acclaim.
Now it's the "biggest DanceSport event in central Europe" - the Austrian Open Championships - that will bring approximately 3,000 dancers and as many as 8,000 spectators to the Multiversum between 15 and 17 November.
