The coverage on the World Youth Latin had quite a following over the weekend. 100,000 views between Saturday and Sunday on the WDSF YouTube channel DanceSport Total: not bad at all for a hot and sunny weekend during peak vacation time (in the northern hemisphere)!
The next blog to go up here will be the one on The World Games 2013 Cali, COL. A small WDSF Communications team will report on the Standard, Salsa and Latin events staged at a bullfighting arena as part of the multi-sport games in the "World Capital of Salsa." The blog will become active from 25 July, the day the official Opening Ceremony will be held at the sold out Pascual Guerrero Stadium.

The World Open Latin wrapped up the 2013 Chengdu Festival. Official results should become available soon. Winners were Andrey Kiselev - Anastasia Balaeva, RUS. They reversed the order of the World Open Wuppertal that was danced just one week earlier by claiming first ahead of Marius-Andrei Balan - Nina Bezzubova, GER. Sergey Gusev - Anastasia Usoltseva, LUX, came in second runners-up.
