2014 Wuhan Volunteers The unsung heroes of the Wuhan leg in this year's GrandSlam Series are the volunteers who look after the athletes and officials with charm and efficiency, tending to their every whim.

We don't know how many there are exactly, but upwards from 300 is probably a good guess. You recognise them easily in the dark blue shirts with a WDSF logo on the chest (... and that of the Chinese makers of fine dance shoes on the back).They staff the welcome desk at the hotel, arrange for transport, bring water and food, serve as the foremost question authorities ... and do just about everything else that needs to be done to keep an event such as this three-day DanceSport competition in high gear.

On behalf of the World DanceSport Federation as well as its athletes and officials, we say xiexie, 谢谢 ...
