Decision Time

The 12-strong panel takes a frontrow seat on one side of the floor and awards points from 1 to 10, i.e. from poor to outstanding, for the four Components that are assessed by 3 adjudicators each.

The objective of the recent Adjudicators' Congress here in Stuttgart was to "calibrate" the way the scale is applied properly between 6 and 10. Some of the adjudicators on tonight's panel attended. Will they, as was suggested, award fewer 10s than we have seen in the first two legs of the GrandSlam? Or will we see more perfect dancing by the finalists? We will soon find out!
