Who Won't Be Here

Helsinki, FIN - 8 March 2015 © Roland Much has been told about several "new" partnerships that were formed after others had broken up in the wake of the 2015 World Latin in Ostrava, CZE, on 5 October 2014. Following months of speculations and preempting all rumours, announcements of three new partnerships were made last December.

Three couples emerged from the break-up of two: Nino Langella paired with Vera Bondareva for Italy, his former partner Khrystyna Moshenska with Marius-Andrei Balan for Germany, and the latter's former partner Nina Bezzubova with Timur Imametdinov - also for Germany. Out of the three only Timur and Nina will be in Aarhus, DEN, tomorrow.

The other two couples are not yet eligible - under WDSF Rules - to represent their new countries in a continental championship. Khrystyna danced for Italy and Vera for Ukraine in last' years World, for a period of twelve months following that championship the ladies cannot compete under their new flags.   Timur, on the other hand, has last represented Russia in the 2013 World Latin in Berlin, GER.

To see all three "new" couples competing on the same floor, you'll likely have to be patient until the end of April: they are all elegible to dance in the GrandSlam Latin in Wuhan, CHN. Keep your fingers crossed!
