Today's highlight at the German Open Championships is without any doubt the 2018 GrandSlam Standard. The fourth leg in the Series got underway yesterday with round one. The total number of entries was higher than the one in 2017: 257 to 242. And the observation made in the headline of a local paper held true for this event as well: "The Chinese Are The New Russians." Quite a few of the 240 couples representing the People's Republic at this year's GOC are dancing the GrandSlam Standard.
