The Eve of the Championship

Vaidotas Lacitis - Veronika Golodneva (LTU)

It is the eve of the anticipated 2019 WDSF World Championship Standard, and we started it with interviewing Vaidotas Lacitis and Veronika Golodneva, who popped in to the official hotel in the morning. As it is their home town, Vilnius, the couple organised a day care for their lovely little four-legged friend before arriving and before settling down in front of the cameras.

It was a nice and calm interview, and it was filled with all the lovely words they said about each other and for each other. Having the World Championship in home town of course creates a special feeling for the couple, and they are really looking forward to tomorrow. And so are we!

Meanwhile, seven medal events take place today in Bonn (GER) at the 2019 World Para DanceSport Championships. Friday will start with the women’s single class 1 and class 2; duo Latin class 1 and 2; combi freestyle class 1 and 2. The first World Champions will be decided in the women’s junior single class 1+2 that consists of female dancers between 13-20 years old.
The three live streams are set to begin at 13:20 CET, 14:50 CET and 17:50 CET on @World Para Dance Sport Facebook, @paradancesport Twitter and at the competition website.
