Organisation

As per Article 17 of the World DanceSport Federation Statutes, the Professional Division has the authority to govern its own administration of professional DanceSport. For this purpose, it establishes its own managing body, departments and commissions.

PD General Meeting

The Professional Division General Meeting is composed of the delegates, maximum two per country, selected by each WDSF National Member Body from that body’s own professional division or analogue group of professionals. The general meeting is convened at least once every year. In these meetings the delegates conduct the business of the division as outlined in the WDSF Statutes.

PD Presidium

The Presidium is the division's managing body. It is appointed by the PD General Meeting to a term of three years and tends to the division's business between PD General Meetings. A Managing Committee tends to the day-to-day running of the Professional Division. The PD President assumes the role of the Executive Director of the division too, with specific duties assigned in terms of reporting to the WDSF General Meeting and the WDSF Presidium. The PD President is a member of the WDSF Presidium.
