2015 PD World Latin 05/11/2015

Krasnodar, RUS - 6 April 2013 © Roland The 2015 PD World Latin will be held as part of the Saxonian Dance Classics at the Maritim Hotel - International Congress Centre in Dresden, GER. 47 couples representing 25 nations have entered the World Championship that gets danced on 7 November.

Looking at the official Starting LIst, one discovers that all seven finalists of the 2015 PD European Latin that was danced in Olomouc, CZE, in May are among the entries. But if one looks at their names more closely, something doesn't seem quite right. Or does it? Andrey Zaytsev will dance with Anna Kuzminskaya, his former partner with whom he won the 2013 European Latin - before they split and before Andrey turned professional with Elizaveta Cherevichnaya. Interesting!

WDSF Communications' Helmut Roland will be in Dresden and report on the World Championship with videos and photographs. Helmut was doing the same when Andrey and Anna danced together for what now turns out was not their last time. The picture above was taken on that occasion, during the 2013 European Latin in Krasnodar, RUS.
