  • Ferruggia - Koehler win the PD Super GP Standard

    Benedetto Ferruggia - Claudia Koehler, GER, win the PD Super GP Standard Final in Moscow ahead of Donatas Vezelis - Lina Chatkeviciute, LTU, who were runners-up. The third place went to Andrzej Sadecki - Karina Nawrot, POL.

  • Pasechnik - Arndt, GER, win 2017 PD Super GP Final 

    Seven couples had qualified for the first Super GrandPrix Latin Final in the history of the Professional Divsion. Pavel Pasechnik - Marta Arndt, GER, won the presitiguous competition ahead of Marts Smolko - Tina Bazykina, LAT.

2017 PD World STD and PD 10th Anniversary 13/09/2017

Prague Open Dance Festival from September 15th - 17th at the famous Lucerna Palace in Prague set the stage for the 2017 WDSF PD World Championship Standard. 43 couples from 16 nations are on the starting list.

2017 is the 10th year of WDSF Professional Division. For this event of WDSF Professional Division, a very special PD 10th Anniversary Ceremony is set up. All the former PD World Champions since 2007 were invited to join the anniversary. They all will be introduced in a special ceremony and a video of former competitions of these couples will be shown. 

The following former PD World Champions, who in the meantime have completed their competition dancing, are expected to join the ceremony and will be welcomed:

- Alexei Galchun - Tatiana Demina (2007, 2008)

- Paolo Bosco - Silvia Pitton (2009, 2010, 2011)

- Domenico Soale - Gioia Cerasoli (2012)

- Mirko Gozzoli - Edita Danuite (2013, 2014)

- Emanuel Valery - Tania Kehlet (2016)

We are looking forward to exciting PD World Championships Standard 2017 in Prague and we wish all 43 participating couples luck and success.
