20/02/2024 read more ...Ever since the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, CHN, dancers representing China at multi-sport games seem to outdo themselves, getting medals in double digit numbers.
One needs to remember that under the Asian Games formula all five dances in Latin and Standard are contested separately, with a gold-silver-bronze set of medals awarded for each dance - plus one set for the overall standing. In Guangzhou, all gold went to China.
Some of the couples who medalled in Incheon are now getting ready for The World Games 2013 in Cali, COL.
Ting Zhuang - Yao Hou, who won the gold in the Cha Cha Cha just three weeks ago, will be one of two couples fielded by the Chinese DanceSport Federation and the Chinese Olympic Committee.
The Standard couple is made up of Peng Zhao - Qi Wang. They won the Tango in Incheon.
