20/02/2024 read more ...WDSF President Carlos Freitag and Eva Bartunkova, the chair of the WDSF Equality Commission, were present when delegations of more than 100 sports governing bodies met for the 2014 IF Forum in Lausanne, SUI, from 3 to 5 November. Organised by SportAccord, the International Federations' (IF) Union, the annual forum provides the IF leadership with valuable insights into all aspects of sports governance.
This year the focus was on "Innovation and Technology" and speakers from IF ranks and sports industry elaborated on topics such as "Innovative TV," "Data Standardisation" and "Software Empowering IF Activities."

Maybe after listening to some of the experts, the recent changes to the television format that WDSF has adopted for its GrandSlams and Championships start making sense even to the sceptics.
