20/02/2024 read more ...A few years ago, the World Rock 'n' Roll Confederation (WRRC), an Associate Member of WDSF for more than two decades, embarked on an international campaign aiming to increase worldwide participation in the different disciplines under its governance.
WRRC presents the results it achieved in promoting Acrobabtic R&R to countries on all five continents with the video on the Acrobatic Rock 'n' Roll Expansion.

But WRRC hasn't stopped its initiative yet. It's targeting another 50 countries that manifested interest in starting with R&R at the national level. Over the past three weeks, three high-profile (i.e. World Champion) Acrobatic R&R couples toured Latin America and concluded their journey by bringing their discipline to the host city of the 2016 Olympic Games, Rio de Janeiro, BRA.
But the three couples were not the only ones representing DanceSport in Rio: WDSF CEO Jean-Laurent Bourquin was also on location, striving to make the Olympic Movement more aware of the sport's unique and broad appeal. More about that later this week!
