DanceSport Academy Workshop 25/05/2011

DanceSport Academy Natasa Ambroz, IDSF Vice President and chair of the Education Department, recently announced that a DanceSport Academy Workshop will be staged concurrently with the 2011 German Open in Stuttgart.

Two acclaimed Academy Workshops were the successful premiere of the concept in 2010. One was held in Zagreb, CRO, the other in Vienna, AUT. Both went beyond the mere transfer of technical knowledge, and they addressed an audience far broader than that of the traditional congresses.

The August workshop will focus on "Open Choreography in the Viennese Waltz," with the IDSF Professional Division acting as co-organiser. Slovenian pros Luca Bussoleti and Tjasa Vulic will demonstrate figures and choreogrpahy.

The IDSF DanceSport Academy seeks to provide all lectures, demonstrations, etc. through state-of-the-art technology. Hence the next workshop will be recorded and made available as HD video through the Academy's section on this website.

Natasa Ambroz has several other workshop topics defined and invites the IDSF National Member Bodies and their organisers to contact her for the full application documentation, including the bid form.
