IPC World Wheelchair 03/11/2015

2015 IPC World Wheelchair © FIDS For the first time ever, a WDSF Member Body joins a National Paralympic Committee as host of the IPC World Wheelchair DanceSport Championships.

Seven years after the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and WDSF signed a cooperation agreement and pledged to develop Wheelchair DancSport jointly, the Italian DanceSport Federation (FIDS) co-organises the 2015 World Wheelchair together with the Italian Paralympic Committee from 6 to 8 November in Rome.

"Wheelchair DanceSport is growing more and more," says FIDS President  Christian Zamblera. "FIDS is sure that these championships will open new scenarios with a view to the future inclusion of our sport into the Olympic and Paralympic Movement," he added.

FIDS is committed to provide the 2015 World Wheelchair with high levels of exposure. WDSF Communications will take up on the coverage produced by FIDS and inform about the championship through its outlets.
