Kaohsiung Update 14/03/2013

The World DanceSport Games will get underway in Kaohsiung in just over six months, from 16 September.

For the milestone date, WDSF Sports Director Marco Sietas has again travelled to the port city in southern Taiwan to meet with key staff of the local organising committee. This time he is accompanied by WDSF Communications' Roland Hilfiker.

They are joined by Royce Yeh and Andy Wang of the Chinese Taipei DanceSport Federation.

Over two days, the organisers will brief the WDSF and CTDSF representatives on the status of their preparations in all the different areas. Accreditation, communications and media coverage are on today's agenda.

China Airlines One official announcement of relevance was made at the opening of the meeting today. China Airlines will be the official carrier of the World DanceSport Games 2013 Kaohsiung. It will offer preferential fares for athletes and officials of the games. More information on this will become available soon.
