Sure, first and foremost on their minds will be achieving a good result in this year's championship. But everybody is aware that the 24 couples that will top the World Ranking list by the end of 2016 - and that have both dancers holding the passport of the country they represent - get a shot at taking part in another competition. One that is held only every four years: The World Games.
The Centennial Hall is the venue for both competitions. Even the hosts are basically the same as the Wroclaw 2017 Organising Committee backs up the DanceSport Federation Poland and the Club Perfect Dance for this year's championship already.
