Second GrandSlam Coming Up 08/04/2016

Wuhan Sports Centre Arena The GrandSlam Wuhan, the second leg in the 2016 Series, gets underway on Saturday 16 April with Latin. Preparations are in full swing in the host city Wuhan, located in the Hubei province of Central China.

The GrandSlam returns to the Wuhan Sports Centre Arena, an expansive and state-of-the-art venue that was used back in 2014.

In terms of the number of entries, news coming from the organisers are quite encouraging already. Approximately 80 couples from abroad have entered, among them nearly all in the top 20 of the WDSF World Ranking for Latin and Standard. Add to this about minimum as many couples from China and you end up with a participation along the lines of that at the GrandSlam Helsinki.

Looking at some of the coverage that the WDSF Communications team produced in 2015 should get you ready to tune in this year too. The "Live from Wuhan" blog gets rolled out next Friday!
