SportAccord in Bangkok 13/04/2018

Lukas Hinder © IWGA This year's edition of SportAccord will be held from 15 – 20 April at the Centara Grand and at the Convention Centre in Bangkok, Thailand. Its focus will be on "Uniting A Global Audience: Marketing and Sponsorship for the Future." Expanding on the theme of sponsorship and marketing, high-profile speakers will represent organisations across the entire sports business landscape. International Sports Federations will also attend the general meetings of organisations such as GAISF, ARISF, IMGA and of the International World Games Association (IWGA).

WDSF will be represented at SportAccord by President Lukas Hinder, General Manager Guillaume Felli, Senior Adviser J.L. Bourquin and the Chair of the WDSF Athletes' Commission, Ashli Williamson. President Hinder stands unopposed for election to a sixth term as Treasurer on the IWGA executive. The elections will be held during the IWGA General Meeting on 16 April.

While in Bangkok, the WDSF delegation will also meet with a representative of the Thailand DanceSport Association, Mr Sittichai Preyadara, the chief organiser of the annual King's Cup.
