Dresden, GER - 5 October © Roland 49 couples danced the first round of the World Senior I Standard in Dresden, GER.

After five rounds, new Champions were declared: Stefano Bernardini - Stefania Martellini, ITA, wom the title ahead of defending World Champions Tassilo Lax - Sabine Lax, GER, and Zdenek Pribyl - Lenka Pribylova, CZE.

The other finalists: Alexandr Vanchugin - Oxana Skripnik, RUS, in fourth;  Rodrigue Vieux - Adriana Teoli, FRA, in fifth; Pierre Payen - Isabelle Reyjal, FRA, in sixth.

Photographs of the championship and videos of some of the couples - all by Dr Helmut Roland - have already been added to the Photo Gallery and  the WDSF YouTube channel DanceSport Total. More are to get uploaded later.
