TWG 2017: Four Medal Events 29/08/2014

Cali Bullring © COLDEPORTESThe International World Games Association announced the sports programme for the upcoming edition of The World Games 2017 today. Altogether 27 sports will feature in the multi-sport event that is scheduled from 3 to 13 August 2017 in the Polish city of Wroclaw.

Included in the approximately 170 medal events are four (4!) pertaining to DanceSport. As was the case in every World Games edition since 1997, Latin and Standard will be contested during 2017 Wroclaw too. Rock 'n' Roll will return to the programme after a one-edition hiatus. And Salsa, which premiered on the invitational programme in 2013 Cali, will be promoted to the official programme!

After the success that DanceSport had at the gate and in the media during The World Games 2013, WDSF will be challenged to equal in three years' time. The venue, which was a key element to the sport's presentation in Cali, COL, will be exceptional in Wroclaw too. It is even included on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Click here!
