Tokyo Star Couples 06/03/2012

Face-Off in Tokyo

It was anticipated already for the 2011 GrandSlam Finals in December: the first encounter between reigning World Champions Valeri - Kehlet, DEN, and their predecessors Ferruggia - Koehler, GER, after the Moscow World Standard. It didn't happen then!

But it could happen next Sunday, 11 March, during the first GrandSlam Standard leg in Tokyo.

Keiji Ukai, the WDSF Presidium Member from Japan, just forwarded the list of "star" couples - those dispensed from dancing the first rounds based on their world rankings - for the Standard and Latin competitions (below). If the announced post-Moscow face-off does happen, you will first find out in the "Live from Tokyo" blog!
