WDSF Athlete's ID Card | 31 March 12/03/2013

WDSF Athlete's ID Card

From 1 April 2013 you will only be able to enter a WDSF sanctioned competition if you can present your WDSF Athlete's ID Card at the time of registration.

The formal introduction of the cards is already three months behind schedule after the initial 1 January launch date was postponed to 31 March 2013. Expect no further grace periods, this deadline stands firm!

Thousands of cards have left the WDSF Office in Sant Cugat over the past months. If you have submitted your application online and through your National Member Body, you have either received it already or you can follow up online on its status. If you have not applied yet, at the time of writing this short text, you have exactly 17 days 14 hours and 15 minutes to make up for lost time!
