Grand Prix Linz 2009

 

Linz, Austria, Capital of Culture 2009, hosted the IDSF Europe Cup Latin. Visitors and guests in Linz can see the efforts everywhere; meet cultural highlights in music, theatre, art and ballet. Walking through the wonderful illuminated city in the evening was a special experience. One of the prestigious events is the Grand Prix Linz with the IDSF Europe up Latin as its special highlight. It took place in the Intersport Arena in Linz.

Each European country is allowed to nominate one representative couple. So 23 couples entered to dance in the 1st Round. 6 couples danced the very interesting final. The 1st place, winning all 5 dances, went to Evgeny Imrekov and Elizaveta Divak from Russia. In 2nd place and therefore Vicechampion were Gabriele Goffredo and Antonia Goffredo, Italy, in 3rd postion Zufar Zaripov and Anna Tchemodourova – Ludwig from Austria.
