IDSF European Cup in Romania 06/03/2011

5 March 2011 - Targu Mures, Romania

Targu Mures, a town located right in the centre of Romania, hosted the IDSF European Cup Standard 2011.

It was a very special event for the Romanian DanceSport Federation, meanwhile organized as a Sports Federation since 20 years .

It took place in the Sala Polivalenta in Targu Mures. The Presidium, headed by President Mr. Vasile Gliga, who is member of the National Parliament since 2 years, invited a long list of guests of honour as well as many  sponsors. The enthusiastic audience welcomed the 21 participating couples in the European Cup Standard as well as many national couples dancing their National Romanian Championship.

The Romanian Federation provided a very special wooden floor for the couples, used in all Championships. After 4 Rounds the 6 qualified couples were recalled to the final.
