Recently we received the analyses of the laboratories of the Anti-Doping Testing at the GOC 2011 Stuttgart, Germany.
One sample showed the presence of Salbutamol, a B-2 agonist, a forbidden substance under section S3 of the Forbidden List. Salbutamol is often used as a medicine for asthma. The athlete reported the use of this medicine to DCO during the sample collection. We could solve this problem, within the rules, by the issuance of a retro-active TUE.
All other analyses were clean. Congratulations athles.
THINK POSITIVE, TEST NEGATIVE.
