You think that you have been to huge competitions, seen spacious venues, met fellow dancers by the thousands? Then you have either been to the German Open or danced the Russian Open yourself.
This ROC is of a magnitude that nearly compares with that of Stuttgart. WDSF Communications is still trying to find out just how many couples are dancing in the different competitions at the Crocus Expo, the international exhibition and convention centre in Moscow. Heidi Goetz took a few photographs with her iPhone to give you an idea of the scale of things here.
Some information regarding the Opens Latin and Standard we have received: more than 400 couples in each, both extend over two days, and participation is approximately 75% Russian.
