Round Two Coming Up

Zuvedra B, LTU The first round of the 2012 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Latin Formation in Vienna, Austria, was contested by the sixteen teams. 12 should get called back for round two. It is scheduled to start after the opening ceremony and some show elements at approximately 20:00 CEST.

While the WDSF Communications team is not able to offer you a live stream of the semi-final and final tonight, the uploading of videos from the Multiversum should be considerably faster than from some of the other competition venues. While everybody is waiting for the show to start, here are a few more photographs of formation teams in round one. All photographs taken by Heidi Goetz!

Petra commented to an earlier post here that the championship "is not shown on TV. Such a pity, I would love to see it!" Wrong! It will be shown delayed in Austria on ORF Sport Plus - plus quite possibly in Germany as well. We'll keep you informed ... And you'll be able to watch most of it on this blog. Tonight!

The WDSF pompously advertised "Near to live" once more turned into "Near to nothing". It's too bad to see a basically good idea done by amateurs. WDSF should think of relaunching it on a professional basis, or just leave it to save fans and public credits!
