To some extent, it was anticipated: the WDSF Communications team will not be able to bring you the video content from the Oberwerth Sports Hall in the timely manner that it had hoped for.
We mentioned in a post yesterday that circumstances ...
... reduced the deployment of forces to the "single fighter" ... Prof Helmut Roland will be alone at the Oberwerth Sports Hall ...
Thanks for your understanding if the coverage on the 2012 European Standard should be a little less and slower than usual!
With only one team member on location in Koblenz, it has now become a matter of assigning priority to the recording of the next three rounds. While we will still publish results immediately after each round, we will have to wait with the uploading of videos until after the final. Thanks for your understanding!

Their unmatched airborne grace and dynamism - above all in the Quickstep - have earned Sergey Konovaltsev and Olga Konovaltseva, RUS, the praise and undivided attention of every photographer in DanceSport.
WDSF Communications adds more photographs taken by Helmut Roland during the first round to the Gallery.
Here's another series taken of of the home team, Simone Segatori - Annette Sudol, GER, whose club Redoute Koblenz is responsible for organising this championship at the Oberwerth Sports Hall.
Benedetto Ferruggia - Claudia Koehler, GER, dancing round one.
Emanuel Valeri - Tania Kehlet, DEN, dancing the first round! While waiting for the first videos to come in, some more below.
After we have resorted to archived footage (from the Tokyo GrandSlam) for the comments by Emanuel Valeri - Tania Kehlet, DEN, in the first clip yesterday, here we have them TODAY at the hotel, about to leave for round one of the 2012 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Standard ... Tension is building!
Another panoramic view, this time it is of the venue for today's European Standard: the Oberwerth Sports Hall. Dancing is in progrees there, and we will soon find out what it looks like now, after people have put in some hard work since yesterday.
On the organisers' facebook page we found some photographs of how it presented itself in the afternoon of 27 April.
The appropriate comment: "Even if it doesn't look like it, we will dance here tomorrow!"
No we wait for Helmut Roland's first batch of pictures to come in to get full confirmation.
Emanuel Valeri - Tania Kehlet, DEN, started thinking about Koblenz, Germany, on 11 March, the day they came in second to Benedetto and Claudia in the GrandSlam Tokyo. And their gold medal won at last year's World Standard in Moscow is again safely left at home ... Another teaser for the 2012 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Standard!
Benedetto Ferruggia - Claudia Koehler, GER, are as ambitious and confident as Simone and Annette. Even if it's not an outright home game, it will be very close to one at the Oberwerth Sports Hall tomorrow too. Another teaser for the 2012 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Standard!
