STOP IT! Imagine a long, narrow corridor with changing rooms to the left and to the right - a few restrooms mixed in too - and somewhere in the midst of everything: our temporary office.

Power supply is adequate, probably even for a hairdryer or two. Basketball, handball and volleyball teams change here regularly But dancers seem to put much higher demands on the electric circuit.

Everytime the 51st hairdryer is plugged in and turned on, the circuit breaker jumps and our office goes pitch dark ... Some of our work gets lost and our video uploads get interrupted! Sometimes irretrievably stopped!

By means of this post we urge everyone to refrain from using hairdryers at this venue. Please!

2013 European Youth Standard 29/03/2013

2013 EC Youth STD © Roland The quarterfinal was just completed and we are uploading the first batch of videos ... Provided that no more than 50 dancers in the adjacent changing rooms plug in and operate their hairdryers at the same time, we should have a few up soon. What we already have is a selection of photographs taken by Dr Helmut Roland.

But there goes the power again: 51 hairdryers!

Live from Cambrils The WDSF Communications team has arrived in Cambrils - with a slight delay due to bad weather slowing down air traffic in some parts of Europe. But here we are, ready to report on the 2013 European Standard that just saw the second round completed.

Round 2 results should be up any minute, accessible from the link at the top of the column to the right.

Ferran Castañer and Helmut Roland will start recording dances and photographing couples from Round 3. The rest of us - we are five more - will be busy preparing already for the live broadcast tomorrow.
