Signing Off in Hong Kong ... 13/05/2013

WDSF World DanceSport Games 2013 Kaohsiung Only to be heard of again soon from the host city of the WDSF World DanceSport Games 2013: from Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan!

After this weekend's GrandSlam, the WDSF President Carlos Freitag departs from Hong Kong later in the evening and heads for Kaohsiung together with his wife Evelyn.

Mr Freitag is also accompanied by the WDSF Sports Director, the Communications Director ... Plus two Grand Slam Hong Kong finalist couples: Marius-Andrei Balan - Nina Bezzubova and Simone Segatori and Annette Sudol! The two couples will be promoting the WDSF World DanceSport Games 2013 with a number of media appearances scheduled in the host city on 14 and 15 May.

That is the reason that from approximately 20:00 UTC/GMT this blog will get archived and the homepage taken up by the regular news section. Afterwards, you will be able to access the Hong Kong blog here.

Over the coming days, we will file regular reports on the promotional activities taking place in Kaohsiung. Stay tuned for more information on the World DanceSport Games 2013 Kaohsiung.

2013 GrandSlam Hong Kong | The Recap 13/05/2013

2013 GrandSlam Latin Hong Kong © BenSon Wong Two hours of television on the 2013 GrandSlam Hong Kong aired live in approximately 100 countries over the past weekend. For all those who didn't have the opportunity to watch, the WDSF Communications team retransmitted both programmes only four hours after the Latin and Standard competitions had ended. Past midnight local time, after a long and tiring day!

Add to this the approximately 60 videos (60 x 2' = 2 h) recorded during the earlier round and you arrive at an exceptionally high level of exposure for an event that saw the benchmarks upped once more in many respects. Visibility being just one!

WDSF takes the opportunity to thank the hosts and organisers, the Hong Kong DanceSport Association and its patrons, as well as the host broadcaster TVB, for putting all their diligence and passion into staging this GrandSlam in a truly big way.
