Final Day

2014 GrandSlam Standard Stuttgart It's the fifth and final day of the German Open Championships in Stuttgart. The organisers have just held their press conference and announced that the event saw its figures increase further in many areas, from overall participation to the number of pages called up on the GOC website.

Saturday is GrandSlam Standard day and the organisers have sold out all tickets for the Beethoven Hall a few weeks back. There is a reason for that! For the last years Germany always had very competitive couples in this particular competition. Benedetto Ferruggia - Claudia Koehler won it five times. Now it's up to their heirs apparent, Simone Segatori and Annette Sudol, to try to esnure that the black-red-gold flag is raised and the German anthem played during the awards presentation.
