He was the founding President of the Hong Kong DanceSport Association, stayed in office for five years, until 2001, and continues as a patron to DanceSport in Hong Kong through today: meet Stanley Au!
The grand seigneur put in a stellar appearance at last night's welcome dinner that was held at the Cosmopolitan hotel. Called to the stage by George Yip, who acted as master of ceremony at this function too, Mr Au enchanted his captive audience with the rendition of three songs. Evergreens all three, he dedicated one - "Blue Spanish Eyes" - to WDSF President Carlos Freitag who is currently recovering from surgery in Spain.
