The last piece of music that played at the Multiversum in the late evening of Sunday 22 November was the Austrian national anthem. With the Vienna public standing tall and singing along, it honoured the new World Champions Showdance Standard in the Professional Division: Vadim Garbuzov - Kathrin Menzinger, AUT.
Cast as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey from "Fifty Shades" fame, the Austrians doubled up on the title won in Showdance Latin this June - also in Vienna - and kept their closest rivals Marco Camarlinghi - Martina Minasi, ITA, who were cast as the Emcee and Sally from Cabaret, in second place.
Seven other couples delighted the audience with their characters and performances too: a Mummy, Gomez and Morticia Addams, the Great Gatsby ... By the end of this week you will be able to watch the final free of charge through Vimeo. Stay tuned!
