Another minor change: only three couples are dropped after the first round of this GrandSlam Latin Final. Ten make the semi-final which is danced in two heats of five to determine the six finalists.
For Yan Bangbang - Zhu Jing, CHN, Anton Aldaev - Natalia Polukhina, RUS, and Paul Moldovan - Cristina Tatar Cristina, ROU, this is as far as it goes. But just being able to take part in this event is a privilege that only very few dancers get to enjoy during their career. Aside from the good results that Anton and Natalia had achieved in the Series, they have won a World Championship this year: the ShowDance Latin in Chengdu, CHN, back in September.
Paul and Cristina maintain their exceptional consistency: this is their third 11th place in the GrandSlam Series.
