It was all planned: would Armen Tsaturyan and Svetlana Gudyno, RUS, have taken first in the GrandSlam Latin Hong Kong, George Yip, the formidable master of ceremony, would have had the capacity crowd of 2,500 at the QE II Stadium join in an a capello rendition of "Happy Birthday" to celebrate Armen turning 26 on this Saturday 8 July 2017. But George's live post-event interview was held with their opponents. Nevertheless, Armen and Svetlana were happy with their result. Rightfully so: as first runners-up they accrued a total of 192.42 for the final.
