The 2017 GrandSlam Latin Wuhan Semi-Final was preceded by an Opening Ceremony of the kind that one only gets to see here in China. Not much was left to improvisation and the well choreographed spectacle with its sights and sounds, plus a few speeches too, extended over close to 45 minutes.
The other highlight was the dancing by the six finalist couples. All seemed to be particularly motivated as it was a the last GrandSlam danced in this populous city in Central China, and as the audience cheered them one as if there were no tomorrow.
