Yesterday's "Walk of Fame" will long be remembered by all participants for the way it culminated in what the programme simply described as "Party." After six show blocks performed by young dancers studying at the Sichuan University of the Performing Arts and the Radio, Film and Television University of Chengdu, the masters of ceremony invited all present to join in the dancing.
What evolved was a no-holds-barred dance-as-dance-can between the athletes about to compete in the World Championships here in Chengdu, the dancers who had just performed and pretty much everything else allowed onto the square.
