Bonjour Marseille!

Add title

Bonjour! Good morning from Marseille!

Reporting from France’s second largest city is our communications team, ready to deliver content on one of the most interesting and promising competitions this month.

During the next two days, couples and dancers from over 35 countries gather at the Palais des  Sports to participate in the two World Championships in what can be considered one of the most demanding events of DanceSport: Ten Dance, which includes all the Standard dances (Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango, Quickstep and Slow Fox) and all the Latin dances (Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, Cha Cha Cha and Jive) ... We mixed their order up just to keep you on your toes.

Boogie-Woogie will also play a big role this weekend. Hundreds of dancers will be competing in the World Championships of Boogie-Woogie and the World Championship of Boogie-Woogie Formation, whose teams consists of 8 couples dancing synchronously.

For those of you interested on the schedule: on Saturday, Main Class Boogie-Woogie, Formation, and Ten Dance Professional Division will take place; on Sunday, Senior and Junior Boogie-Woogie, and Ten Dance Adult will wrap up the weekend. Videos and pictures are on their way. There are heaps of coverage to be added from yesterday's Coninental Qualifier in Philadelphia as well. Maybe we even get to embed a player with a live stream on today's breaking at the Silverback Open. Stay tuned!
