18/10/2023 read more ...Dear WDSF Members,
The previous year was extremely difficult and we all encountered problems at all levels, both athletes and officials, as well as National federations and the WDSF.
Unfortunately, we have to say that the circumstances are still very complex and difficult. Therefore, the organizers of the 2021 Grand Slams in Italy and Germany canceled the organization of these prestigious events due to the COVID crisis.
Nevertheless, we truly hope that the planned and scheduled World and European Championships in the second half of the year will indeed be organized.
In order to re-establish the competition system, the WDSF Sports Commission has prepared a project that will allow all WDSF members to actively participate in the restart of the competition season and also allow WDSF athletes to participate in the qualifications for The World Games 2022 in Birmingham.
Very soon we will publish all the details regarding the possibility of participating in The World Games Qualifications and the organization of the WDSF competitions at the regional level and under special conditions.
Best regards,
Nenad Jeftic
WDSF Vice-President for Sport
