Do your dance ... Again! 25/11/2014

Sport Movies & TV 2014 Pedro Toro's film on the inaugural edition of the World DanceSport Games is also in the running for an award at the upcoming "Sport Movies & TV 2014," quite possibly the most prestigious of all festivals for a production dedicated to sports. It is organised annually by the Fédération Internationale Cinéma TV Sportifs (FICTS) and awards the coveted Guirlande d'Honneur in seven competitive sections.

In July, the film was one of 958 that were presented to an International Jury to make the initial cut of 150 selected works that will be screened during the 32nd Milano International Film Fest in Milan, ITA, this December. These entries came from 55 different countries and covered nearly 50 different sports. Among them were major productions on the Sochi 2014 Olympics and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Well, "Do your dance" made the cut and WDSF, as the film's producer, received notification just two weeks ago that it would be included in the 60 works nominated for an award in Milan. We'll find out more on 8 December!

In any case, if you should be in Milan on Sunday 7 December, go to the Palazzo Giureconsulti, Piazza Mercanti, and be present for the screening of "Do your dance" at the Sala Donzelli, at 17:20.
