According to the Art 13(Ter) 6 an election must be held to fill that position for the balance of the four-year term. Therefore, during the next AGM (12 June 2022) an election for the position of the Vice-President for Legal Affairs must be held.
With the introduction of paragraph 10.5* to the WDSF Statutes as approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting on 6 May 2021, candidacies for election must be submitted in writing at least six weeks prior to the relevant AGM to be considered eligible.
Candidacies for the upcoming 2022 AGM in June must therefore be submitted via e-mail to the WDSF Office by 12:59 CET on 1 May 2022 at the latest. Any candidacies submitted after this date cannot be considered for the 2022 AGM.
Any submissions should be addressed to the WDSF General Secretary via office@wdsf.org.

*Paragraph 10.5: To be eligible candidacies for elections held at the General Meeting must be submitted to the General Secretary or a Presidium Member authorized by the Presidium or the Presidium in writing by mail, or e-mail not later than six weeks before the General Meeting. The candidacies shall be accompanied by a brief curriculum vitae, a brief motivation of the candidacy and a proof of the qualification of the candidate according to art. 13(bis) of the 15 Statutes, if necessary. The candidacies will be published no later than four weeks before the General Meeting on the internet web site where the agenda and the motions have been posted.
