Aniello Langella -Khrystyna Moshenska, ITA © Roland If one discounts the national and international broadcasts, the numerous articles that were written in the specialised dance press, and the thousands of photographs that came out of the 2014 World Latin, there is hardly anything else found in the (mainstream) media that makes reference to the event. ... Or to the people who made it an event!

An attempt to google the names of the three-time World Champions together with other relevant keywords under NEWS in Italian draws a total blank. The photograph on the left: a figment of imagination!

But why should the Gazetta dello Sport - actually Italy's most read newspaper - not report on two exceptional (and highly mediagenic) athletes turning legends? It would require some leg work on someone's part for it to happen.

That it can be done is demonstrated elsewhere. English World Latin participants Chantal Green and Andrea Borrelli got their write-up in the papers
