The World Games 2017 Wroclaw | Schedule
WDSF First Vice-President Lukas Hinder is a member of the board of IWGA that approved not only the composition of the programme but als the schedule. "It has always been our policy to open The World Games with the biggest bang possible," Hinder said. "That refers to the Opening Ceremony and the events that are scheduled on the first weekend.
"That DanceSport is again assigned a prominent place in the schedule has much to do with the absolute confidence my colleagues have in its draw - and its power to get the party going."
One only needs to look back to The World Games 2013 Cali to get the IWGA board's assessment confirmed by figures: sell-out crowds of 17,000 on two consecutive days - none of the other 30+ sports recorded more!
