The highly anticipated WDSF GrandSlam Series will resume this year 25/04/2022

Neues Schloss Stuttgard The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) is delighted to announce that, in close cooperation with our National Member Bodies, we have begun to resume our competitions after a period of inactivity due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The WDSF GrandSlam series is a series of Standard and Latin dance competitions of one of the highest levels. Running for decades, the GrandSlam Standard and Latin competitions have historically attracted many of the best DanceSport athletes from all around the world.

Three GrandSlam events in Latin and Standard are planned in the calendar. They are:

June 24-26, 2022, Narón, Spain
August 11-13, 2022, Stuttgart, Germany
December 2022, Shanghai, China

“We can’t wait to get back to normal again, where the world’s most talented couples will grace our dancefloors, competing for titles and inspiring countless others in the process,” said WDSF President Shawn Tay. “We encourage all couples to start preparing for more WDSF competitions throughout the year and to make sure they are registered!”

The resumption of the WDSF GrandSlam series is made possible with the sponsorship of BD DANCE International, a global leading dancewear brand popular for its comfortable, affordable, and beautifully designed shoes.

With less than two months to go to the Spain GrandSlam, the anticipation is rising for an exciting year of DanceSport ahead. See you all in competition mode very soon!
