Wheelchair DanceSport Congress in Spain 08/02/2013

Wheelchair DanceSport Congress in Spain

Tomorrow, 9 February, a Wheelchair DanceSport Congress is held in Terrassa, near Barcelona, ESP.

Eminent authorities in the field of Wheelchair DanceSport lecture on the topic and follow up on the steadily increasing popularity of this discipline in Spain.

The Congress is organised by publiolimpia, the perennial hosts to some of the highest-profile DanceSport competitions in Spain, the Spanish DanceSport Federation and the Association of Spanish DanceSport Clubs. Spain's leading Internet portal for orthopedic supplies is the official sponsor.

The congress is the first to be held in Spain and it aims to further improve Wheelchair DanceSport in a country that has held the first ever competition in 2008, in Platja d'Aro.

Admission is free for all Wheelchair dancers!

Wheelchair DanceSport features prominently alongside the other disciplines in the inaugural edition of the WDSF World DanceSport Games that are staged in the second half of September in the Taiwanese port city of Kaohsiung (here).

Here are a few glimpses at the regular Wheelchair DanceSport training action taking place in Terrassa, ESP.
