Based on a report compiled by the WDSF Panel, the Presidium has reprimanded Ms. Williamson and imposed a probationary period.
The report highlighted breaches in various areas, including the election of the European representative, the appointment of officials, and non-compliance with the Athletes' Commission operating policy. The Athletes' Commission's responses to the report were deemed unsatisfactory by the Presidium.
Under Article 3.13.2 of the WDSF Internal Dispute Resolution Code, the motion put forth specific measures for addressing the breaches. Ashli Williamson has been collectively and individually reprimanded for the violations committed. Additionally, a one-year probationary period, starting from May 31, 2023, has been imposed, during which Ms. Williamson is prohibited from holding any elected office or official administrative position within the WDSF.
These actions reflect the WDSF's commitment to upholding its governing documents and ensuring the integrity and compliance of its committees and representatives.
